Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a shooting that injured a man in Port Jefferson Station.
A man was walking on Wilson Street on July 26 at 2:20 a.m. toward a bar on Main Street when a vehicle pulled up alongside him. A passenger in the rear passenger seat fired shots, striking the victim in the leg.
The victim, 21, of Wyandanch, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
