Suffolk County Police Major Case Unit detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at a Commack bank.
On August 14, a man entered Chase Bank, located at 39 Vanderbilt Motor Parkway at approximately 4:45 p.m. and allegedly handed a teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied and the man fled on foot.
The man is described as white, between five-foot-five and five-foot-eight and wearing a baseball cap, possibly with a camo pattern on it, sunglasses, a white dress shirt, black pants and black shoes.
