Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the murder of a man that occurred in Bay Shore early this morning.
Third Precinct police officers were on patrol when they observed an unconscious man in the north parking lot of the Bay Shore Long Island Rail Road station, located at 6 Railroad Plaza, on July 5 at approximately 2:30 a.m. The man, Yolandus Pratt, 34, of Bay Shore, who was a victim of violence, was transported by ambulance to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
