Suffolk County Police arrested a Mastic Beach man for allegedly stabbing another man in Shirley.
Anthony Thompson was arguing with a man on West Parkview Drive on September 6 when Thompson allegedly stabbed the victim at approximately 2:50 p.m.
The victim, 51, was transported via private vehicle to NYU Langone Hospital – Suffolk in Patchogue with serious injuries.
Thompson, 25, was charged with Assault 1st Degree. He was held overnight at the Seventh Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on September 7.
