Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate three people who allegedly used a stolen credit card in March.
A woman was shopping at Home Goods, located at 6 Henry Street, Commack, at approximately 2 p.m. on March 3 when she was approached by an unknown woman who allegedly distracted the victim while another woman allegedly stole her wallet out of her handbag. A short time later, a third woman allegedly used a credit card from the wallet at Macy’s, located at 180 Walt Whitman Road in Huntington.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
