Nassau County police are asking for the public’s help in locating and identifying a woman who allegedly defaced a statue at a religious school in North New Hyde Park.
On August 13 at 1:30 p.m., an unknown female entered the premise of Notre Dame Elementary School, located at 25 Mayfair Road, and allegedly defaced the St. Michael’s statue before fleeing the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
The subject is described as a white female, last seen wearing a pink shirt, blue jeans with a suitcase.
Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding the above incident to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or the Third Squad at 516-573-6353. All callers will remain anonymous.
