Convenience Store Worker Arrested for Drug Possession

Suffolk County Police today arrested an employee for allegedly possessing drugs at a convenience store in West  Babylon.  

In response to community complaints, First Precinct Crime Unit officers, First Precinct Community  Support Unit and Town of Babylon officials conducted a search warrant at Infinite Convenience Store,  located at 419A Great East Neck Road.  

Jerome Jones, an employee of the store, was allegedly found in possession of a felony amount of crack/cocaine,  along with bags and scales associated with sales of narcotics. 

Jones, 55, of Patchogue, was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a  Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a class B felony.  

He will be held at the First Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on July 17.
