Supermarket Employees Honored for Supporting Fundraiser

Brookhaven Town Councilwoman Jane Bonner recently presented certificates of recognition to the employees of Stop & Shop in Rocky Point for their outstanding efforts in helping make a fundraising event for the Friends of St. Patrick’s Day Parade a great success.

The Stop & Shop team went above and beyond in support of the event, helping to bring the community together for a meaningful cause, Bonner said. As a result of the fundraising effort, Stop & Shop presented the Friends of St. Patrick with a check in the amount of $11,500.

“Events like this are successful because of the generosity, dedication, and community spirit of people who truly care,” Bonner said. “The employees of Stop & Shop in Rocky Point did an outstanding job, and I am proud to recognize them for their hard work and commitment to supporting the Friends of St. Patrick’s Day Parade.”

Bonner thanked Stop & Shop and its employees for their continued support of the community and congratulated the Friends of St. Patrick on the success of the event.
