Sahn Ward Braff Coschignano in Uniondale recently welcomed Alexis V. Fretwell as an associate in the firm’s growing commercial and civil litigation department.
Fretwell concentrates her practice in business, commercial, and civil litigation and appeals, as well as labor and employment law. She represents clients throughout Long Island and New York City in federal and state court matters involving breach of contract claims, fiduciary duty disputes, and bankruptcy litigation.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Fretwell worked as a legal assistant/paralegal in Long Island and Washington, D.C. Upon graduating law school, she served as a summer law clerk to the Hon. Lawrence J. Vilardo in the United States District Court for the Western District of New York. Following her admission to practice, she worked as an associate attorney handling commercial litigation and labor and employment matters in Buffalo, New York.
Fretwell is admitted to practice in New York and before the United States District Court for the Western District of New York and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York. She is an active member of the New York City Bar Association.
