Suffolk County Police arrested a man for not providing services he was paid for.
A woman hired M3 Development Group Inc. on January 8 to make home improvements to her house in Stony Brook. The contractor, Michael Specchio, allegedly stopped working after completing only part of the renovations.
Sixth Squad detectives arrested Specchio on July 20 at the Sixth Precinct at 3 p.m. Further investigation revealed his Suffolk County contractor’s license was expired.
Specchio, 48, of East Islip, was charged with Grand Larceny in the Third Degree, and Unlicensed Contractor.
He was held overnight at the Sixth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip.
