Suffolk County Police cited the bartender of a Huntington bar during a State Liquor Authority (SLA) Inspection.
In response to a community complaint, Second Precinct Crime Section officers, in conjunction with New York State Liquor Authority, Town of Huntington Fire Marshal, and the Town of Huntington Ordinance Inspector, conducted an SLA Inspection at JT Carrington’s, located at 10 Elm Street, on June 12 at approximately 11 p.m.
During the inspection, numerous SLA violations were observed. The Town of Huntington Fire Marshal and Town of Huntington Ordinance Inspector issued seven combined Fire and Building Code violations.
The bartender, Theresa Igoe, 63, of Huntington, was additionally cited for three Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Law violations. Igoe is scheduled to appear at First District Court in Central Islip on July 2.
The New York State Liquor Authority will be conducting further investigations into the establishment.
