Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating a single-vehicle crash that seriously injured a woman in Dix Hills.
Taysi Abdallah, 38, of Westbury, was driving a 2011 Honda westbound on the Long Island Expressway when she lost control of the vehicle. The car left the roadway and overturned onto the entrance ramp of the South Service Road on June 26 at 3:05 p.m.
She was transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip with serious injuries.
The Honda was impounded for a safety check.
