Uniondale Car Crash Leaves One Dead, Two Injured

One person is dead and two others injured after a two cars collided with each other in Uniondale.

On July 8 at 10:42 a.m., a 25-year-old man was driving a 2001 Toyota sedan traveling eastbound on Hempstead Turnpike at the intersection of Glen Curtiss Boulevard when he crossed over and collided with a 2006 white BMW traveling westbound on Hempstead Turnpike driven by a 34-year-old man. The driver of the BMW and his passenger, a 34-year-old woman, were transported to a nearby hospital for minor injuries.

The driver of the Toyota was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead by a hospital physician.

There were no other injuries reported on scene and the investigation is ongoing.
