The Nassau County Police Department’s Homicide Squad is investigating a fatal vehicular accident involving a pedestrian that occurred in Glen Head.
On June 10, at approximately 10:26 p.m., a silver 2003 Chevrolet Impala traveling southbound struck an unidentified male pedestrian as he attempted to cross Glen Cove Road near Cedar Swamp Road. The victim sustained severe trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene by a medic.
The 25-year-old driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
