Suffolk County Police Major Case Unit detectives are investigating a hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian in Holbrook.
On June 11, Mario Corvasce was in the roadway in front of 780 Broadway Avenue, when he was struck by a southbound vehicle at approximately 9:15 p.m. The driver of the vehicle did not stop.
Corvasce, 66, of Holbrook, was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, where he was pronounced dead.
