A pedestrian has been hospitalized after being hit by a car in Woodbury.
On June 8 at 9:15 p.m., a male pedestrian, 34, was struck by a 2005 Honda being operated by a 23-year-old woman traveling east on Jericho Turnpike in the vicinity of Village Lane.
The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local area hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.
The driver remained at the scene, and no further injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
