Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a crash that seriously injured a pedestrian in Holtsville.
Robert Steinberg was driving a 2010 Honda Accord northbound on Patchogue-Holbrook Road at the intersection of Union Avenue when he struck a pedestrian on June 18 at approximately 7:45 p.m.
The pedestrian, Jaime Donnelly, 38, of Holbrook, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Steinberg, 63, of Hauppauge, was not injured.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to contact the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652.
