New York State Police (NYSP) is currently investigating a crash in teh Village of Lake Success that killed one driber and injured another.
On September 6, the NYSP responded to the Northern State Parkway westbound in the area of Exit 25 (Lakeville Road) for the report of a two-car motor vehicle collision.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2007 Ford Escape was involved in a head-on collision with a 2023 Ford Maverick. The operator of the Maverick succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The operator of the Escape was transported to a local hospital with serious physical injuries.
