Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured a motorcyclist in Holbrook.
On June 20, Ricki Mendoza Alvarado was riding a 2019 Yamaha 950 motorcycle southbound on Hollo Drive, when he lost control and crashed into a 2002 Jeep parked on the northbound shoulder in front of 17 Hollo Drive, at 5:35 p.m.
Mendoza Alvarado, 33, of the Bronx, was airlifted via Police Helicopter to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious injuries.
The motorcycle was impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to contact the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652.
