Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating a single-vehicle crash that killed a man in Dix Hills last night.
On August 19, Matthew Adcock was driving a 2016 Ford Edge northbound on Dix Hills Road, just south of Hren Court, when the vehicle left the roadway, striking a fence and a large hedge at approximately 11:25 p.m. Detectives believe he experienced a medical episode prior to the crash.
Adcock, 54, of Huntington, was transported to Huntington Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Ford was impounded for a safety check.
