One of the Cars Hits Gas Pump
Five people were hospitalized in a two-car crash in Franklin Square.
On June 21 at 3:42 p.m., Nassau County police officers from the Fifth Precinct responded to the intersection of Hempstead Turnpike and Herman Boulevard for an auto accident. A white Nissan, while traveling westbound on Hempstead Turnpike, struck a green Hyundai that was traveling southbound on Herman Boulevard. The Nissan then struck a gas pump at Exxon located at 1111 Hempstead Turnpike. There were five injuries reported at the scene. All five individuals were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment and evaluation.
The investigation is ongoing.
