An e-scooter rider was injured after hitting a car in Wantagh.
According to Nassau County police, a 28-year-old male was operating an E-Scooter southbound on Briard Street when he struck the passenger side door of a 2019 Jeep Cherokee being operated by a 42-year-old male who was making a left-hand turn onto Homestead Avenue.
The E-Scooter operator suffered an arm injury and multiple lacerations to his face. He was transported to a local area hospital for evaluation and treatment. He is currently listed in stable condition.
