An e-bike rider was seriously injured when he struck a car as he made a turn onto another street in Baldwin.
On August 4 at 5:43 p.m., a 57-year-old male was riding an e-bike at a high rate of speed northbound on Dorlon Place when he made a right-hand turn onto Steele Boulevard and struck a 2005 Dodge being operated by a 55-year-old male. The e-bike operator suffered head trauma and was taken to a local hospital where he is listed in stable condition. The driver of the Dodge remained at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
