A motorcyclist was injured when he collided with a car in Mineola.
According to Nassau County Homicide Squad detectives, a 42-year-old man was operating a 2026 BMW eastbound on Jericho Turnpike when he was involved in a collision with a 2000 Suzuki motorcycle being operated by a 20-year-old man eastbound in the vicinity of Pershing Parkway. The motorcyclist was transported to a local area hospital, where he is listed in critical condition. The operator of the BMW remained at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
