An accident occurred in Elmont in which a car drove into a pharmacy.
According to Nassau County police, Fifth Precinct officers responded to CVS, located at 1797 Dutch Broadway, on April 25 at 2:04 p.m. for a vehicular accident. A 64-year-old female who was operating a 2013 BMW accidentally hit the gas instead of the brakes, striking the building and causing severe damage. No injuries were reported. The Town of Hempstead Building Department responded to the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
