Four people were hospitalized after being seriously injured in a two-car crash in jericho.
On May 10 at 5:58 p.m., a 2013 Toyota Highlander was involved in a collision with a 2016 Chevrolet Suburban while traveling eastbound on the Long Island Expressway in the vicinity of Exit 41. As a result of the collision, a 36-year-old male who was driving the Suburban and two passengers, a 32-year-old female and a 13-year-old male, were transported by Nassau County Police Ambulance to a local area hospital for treatment of their injuries. An 11-year-old male passenger in the Suburban was airlifted by Nassau County Aviation Helicopter 6 to a local hospital for treatment of a serious leg injury.
No other injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
