To the Editor:
A simple question for most: who would you rather be — Jeff Bezos or AOC/Sanders/Mamdani? (“AOC Hates Billionaires,” May 11, 2026)
One point that never gets made — forget what percentage someone like Musk paid in taxes — how much did he actually pay? Many millions??? And how much did AOC pay??? So shut up already, AOC/Sanders/Mamdani.
And while we are at it, when it comes to sponging off the masses, who is better at it than the Marxist progressives? I don’t see them missing too many meals. They get $185,000 per year for doing not much recently, along with lots of vacation time and benefits (including insider funds). So they have both hands in the taxpayer till of the very system they want to tear down.
Impress me — be the first in line to distribute all your wealth and government salary to others who have less, like those billionaires do by the millions every year in philanthropic giving. Of course, you can have the Soros model of giving millions to people and groups who want to dismantle the U.S. …I guess that’s a form of philanthropy.
